Ethics & Transparency

Our Commitment to Impact

At Cavendish Events, we believe that exceptional catering should not come at the expense of people or the planet. As part of our journey toward B Corp Certification, we are committed to full transparency regarding our social and environmental impact. Upon certification, our annual Impact Report B Corp directory page will be publicly available from here.

Independent Verification & Expert Support

To ensure our environmental and social initiatives are rigorous and science-based, we have partnered with Bold Green Strategies, an independent sustainability consultancy. Their expert team provides external verification across the ESG spectrum, supporting us in accurately measuring our carbon footprint and developing a comprehensive carbon reduction plan to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to responsible business practices.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

We believe diversity drives better outcomes. As an equal opportunity employer, Cavendish Events is committed to inclusion, belonging, and fairness. We actively welcome applications and collaborations from people of all backgrounds and identities, including those who may face barriers to employment. We ensure our hiring practices are equitable and our pay is based on the role, not past salary history.

Human Rights & Modern Slavery

We are committed to respecting internationally recognised human rights, guided by the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the ILO Declaration. We are firmly dedicated to ensuring that modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking find no place within our operations or our supply chain. We expect all our suppliers, from farms to event venues, to uphold these same high standards to ensure workers are treated fairly and paid a living wage.

Responsible Tax Practices

Cavendish Events complies fully with all applicable tax laws and regulations. We are committed to paying our fair share of tax where value is created and do not participate in aggressive tax avoidance schemes.

Political Engagement

Cavendish Events does not participate in political lobbying, nor do we make financial or in-kind contributions to political parties or candidates.

Reporting a Concern (Whistleblowing & Grievances)

We are committed to operating safely and ethically. If any stakeholder—whether a member of staff, a freelancer, a supplier, or a member of the public—has a serious concern regarding unsafe practices, ethical breaches, or misconduct, we want to hear about it. You can safely report your concerns by contacting us at: feedback@cavendishevents.co.uk. All reports are treated with the strictest confidence, tracked internally by our Directors, and will be investigated without fear of retaliation.
